JSMC/ILRS Alumni Meeting

We are pleased to announce this year's JSMC/ILRS Alumni Meeting and look forward to seeing many of you again.

The meeting will take place on the afternoon of Schiller Day, Friday 27 June 2025 from 2pm in Jena. Our aim is to bring together current and former members of the JSMC and ILRS for a joint exchange and discussions. And of course we are looking forward to seeing you again and hearing your stories. During the event you will have the opportunity to learn about the lives of your former fellow PhD students and at the same time get in touch with current PhDs. In addition to short presentations, there will be a get-together with plenty of time for socialising.

We would like to invite you to give a short talk (~15min) about your career after your PhD, your motivations, your current professional field and the decisions you made to get to where you are. We are also particularly interested in whether you have had any ‘obstacles’ along the way or which additional skills have helped you in particular. Of course, we will cover the speakers‘ travelling expenses to Jena and back as well as up to two nights’ accommodation in Jena.
