Science Meets Society Roundtable - The Gene by Siddhartha Mukherjee

We are happy to announce our next installment of Science Meets Society, a place to discuss topics of ethics, equity and inclusion in science, and the role that our work plays in society.

This time around, we will read The Gene: An Intimate History by Siddhartha Mukherjee. This historical and scientific biography of the human genome weaves in personal stories from the author's family experience with mental illness and poses ethical questions about how far we can take our genetic knowledge.
