Webinar: COVID-19, the infodemic and compliance to lock-down

The communication of science and its understanding by the general public and political leaders is critically important in guiding the response to the COVID-19 pandemic and achieving compliance with control measures. However, we also live in a time rife with conspiracy theories and largely unchecked proliferation of misinformation online.

In a one hour webinar we explore this tension with Prof. Stuart Neil (Virology, King's College London), Dr. Elizabeth Watts (Didactics of Biology, FSU Jena) and Prof. Benjamin van Rooij (Law and Society, University of Amsterdam).
