Call for Applications – Microverse Early Career Scientist Award 2025

The Cluster of Excellence "Balance of the Microverse" is proud to announce the Microverse Early Career Scientist Award 2025, honoring exceptional early career researchers who have made significant contributions to our mission.

This award celebrates outstanding achievements in areas such as:

  • High-impact publications

  • Excellent research results

  • Major methodological innovations

  • Technology transfer and entrepreneurship

  • Other exceptional scientific contributions

We welcome nominations from all Microverse researchers, and self-nominations are encouraged.

Eligibility

  • Doctoral researchers, postdocs, or junior research group leaders (up to six years after PhD)

  • Must be a Microverse member or have a strong thematic connection to the Cluster

Required documents

  • Completed nomination form

  • Curriculum vitae of the nominee

  • In case of self-nomination: one letter of recommendation

  • Clearly named files (e.g., last_name_first_name_content.pdf)

  • Please combine all documents into one PDF file and upload it here.

  • €5,000
