Lost in Translation? Decorate Your Office with Our "Microverse Kitchen Postcards"!
Have you ever been told to put "butter next to the fish" or worried that your "barrel is about to overflow"? If you have no idea why someone would suddenly bring a "salad" into a workplace discussion, you are not alone! German idioms can be wonderfully bizarre when translated literally.
To bring some humor into these language barriers, we are thrilled to introduce our new Microverse Kitchen Postcards and Posters!
What’s the Story?
Brainchild of Anna Komor and beautifully brought to life by designer Hannes Naumann, this creative series visualizes popular German idioms in a fun, literal way. But they aren't just pretty to look at: each postcard features a QR code on the back that connects you directly to the support services offered by our Microverse Diversity Steward.
Whether you need a friendly point of contact for navigating international life in Jena , finding language classes , resolving a workplace conflict, or dealing with stress —we are here to help!
