Microverse Get-Together 2025: Celebrating Renewal and Community

On July 10, 2025, members of the Cluster of Excellence "Balance of the Microverse" came together at the Paradiescafé in Jena to celebrate a major milestone—the successful renewal of our Cluster funding. Set in the green heart of the city, the informal gathering offered a welcome opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect as a community.

The afternoon began with opening remarks by Cluster Spokesperson Kirsten Küsel and Junior Research Group representative Markus Lakemeyer. Their words of gratitude and optimism highlighted both the hard work that led to the renewal and the exciting path ahead in the next funding phase.

With sunshine, good conversations, and a relaxed atmosphere, the event underscored the collaborative spirit that defines the Microverse. We thank everyone who joined us and contributed to this memorable day—and to the continued success of our shared research mission.
