We are excited to present to you the program of our Microverse I Symposium, 1st - 3rd of September 2020: 30 talks, 44 posters, round table discussions - all in an online format. Visit www.microverse-conference.de to view the program.

Update (06/22/20): Microverse I goes digital

The current Corona pandemic shows us once more the important role of microorganisms in our lives. Despite all Corona restrictions, we want to push forward the holistic understanding of complex interactions amongst microorganisms as well as with their hosts and the environment. It is our great pleasure to announce that our Microverse I Symposium will be held as a virtual conference on September 1-3, 2020.

This symposium is jointly organized by the Cluster of Excellence Balance of the Microverse, the Collaborative Research Centres ChemBioSys and AquaDiva, as well as the consortium InfectControl 2020. In Jena, we combine our expertise in life, optical, material and computational sciences to investigate the dynamic balance of microbial communities in various habitats, from the molecular to the ecosystem level. We study the molecules mediating the complex interactions amongst microorganisms and with their hosts and the environment.

We invite you to join our Microverse I Symposium and look forward to an inspiring exchange of ideas. The conference will virtually bring together leading national and international experts to discuss the most recent advances in microbial communication, host-microbiome interactions and environmental microbiomes, addressing some of the global challenges we face today. For more information on confirmed speakers, registration and abstract submissions visit www.microverse-conference.de. We invite your abstract submissions until July 7, 2020.

We look forward to welcoming you at our online symposium!
