New Clip online: Discover "Khöröngö: A unique model system for microbial balance"
A new video clip has been released, showcasing an exciting research project from the Cluster of Excellence "Balance of the Microverse". Led by Principal Investigators Tina Warinner, Professor for Microbiome Sciences at the university of Jena, and Miriam Agler-Rosenbaum, Professor for Synthetic Biotechnology at Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology, the project investigates the resilience and historical cultivation of microbial communities found in Mongolian milk ferments. These communities have thrived for over 5,000 years, maintaining a balanced microbial environment that supports sustainable milk production.
