Preview: Internal Microverse Symposium
The balance of microbial consortia, in interaction with other organisms and the environment, is critical for ecosystem functioning, climate stability, sustainable agriculture, and the well-being of plants, animals and humans.
This internal 2-day symposium organized by the Microverse Cluster will bring together experts from Jena’s academic community to address the orchestration of microbial balance on multiple levels, including by chemical signals, host factors, spatial demand, metabolic flux and genetic exchange.
We are happy to announce these external keynotes by:
- Melanie Schirmer, TU Munich
- Matthew Sullivan, Ohio State University
Abstracts can be submitted by researchers from Jena until 20th July. Please check our call for abstracts for further information or contact us (angela.koehler@uni-jena.de).
