Successful Premiere: First Joint Symposium with Jena Participation at the Berlin Futurium
At the Berlin Futurium, our joint symposium “Microbes – Connecting Environment and Health” brought together experts from Jena and two other Clusters of Excellence CMFI (Tübingen) and RESIST (Hannover). The event featured discussions on antimicrobial resistance, the microbiome’s role in health, and the immune system's complexity. A public evening session, with leading figures from science, media, and politics, explored infection research challenges and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration. This successful premiere highlighted the crucial role of microbes in both human health and the environment.
