360 degree full-dome film

If you are a teacher looking for new, immersive learning formats to introduce the topic of Microorganisms to your students in an exciting way, we would like to introduce our 360-degree full-dome film for planetariums "Into the Microverse: Journey through the amazing world of microbes":

What it's about

The two microscopy drones C.A.R.L. and C.A.R.L.A. are sent on a mission to explore the role of microbes for sustainable life on Earth. By visiting the planetarium

The Microverse education team regularly organises "Science Events" for students as well as the general public at the Jena Planetarium (duration: approx. 1 hour). These events offer an eclectic mix of interactive elements, informative content and exciting live experiments before the film "Into the Microverse" is shown as the highlight of the event.

  • Are you interested and would like to take part with your class?
  • Would you like to find out how you can organise a "Science Event" in the planetarium of your choice? We are happy to pass on our knowledge and experience.

Please feel free to contact us at: contact@microverse-cluster.de

By using a mobile planetarium

Bring the Microverse to your school and rent a mobile planetarium: It offers the possibility to show 360-degree full-dome films and usually consists of an inflatable dome or tent in which projectors are installed that project images of stars or films onto the dome ceiling. Such mobile planetariums are often used by schools, museums and other educational institutions to offer pupils and other visitors an immersive experience.

The Jena Planetarium offers - among many other initiatives - the opportunity to borrow a mobile planetarium: planetarium-jena.de
